Going Home
released: 25.03.26
Pool Club's fifth single 'Going Home' was released March 26.
Picture this - it’s the party of a lifetime but you just aren’t feeling it. All because you can’t stop thinking about that one person across the room. Is it ever going to happen? You don’t know but you sure as hell can’t stop thinking about it.
Eliot reflects on the song's composition below:
This song is all about that feeling you get when you’re out having a good time but there’s that one girl or guy you just can’t stop thinking about. We’ve all been there! Are they flirting with you? Playing hard to get? Or are they just not that into you!

The lyrics focus on the feelings of frustration versus fantasy that typically go with these night-out encounters. The verses play largely off of the ‘fantasy’ we all come up with in our heads of that ‘it’s finally happening’ moment. The chorus aims to repeat that reality that’s usually going on whilst you dream up exciting alternate timelines - The night comes to pass, and you’re Going Home alone (Taxi!).
